Feed The Children

Our Mission

Feed The Children is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster.

What We Do

During our 30-year history, Feed The Children has grown into one of the world’s largest private organizations dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people. Last year, Feed The Children shipped 133 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and families in all 50 states and in 34 foreign countries, supplementing more than 760,000 meals a day worldwide. Since our founding in 1979, Feed The Children has reached out to help children and families in 119 countries around the globe.

U.S. Programs

The heart of Feed The Children’s U.S. program is distributing food to families in need. To do this, we work closely with caring corporate partners that donate surplus food and other supplies, as well as with individual donors who help defray the cost of transporting the product donations.

Covenant House

For millions of homeless kids, basic needs like a hearty meal, warm bed, and safe shelter are true luxuries. Instead of knowing the joys of childhood, every day these kids face the life-or-death dangers of living on the streets.

Incorporated in 1972, Covenant House has been leading the effort to help homeless kids. And today, we are the largest privately-funded agency in the Americas that provides food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and an array of other important services to homeless, throwaway, and runaway kids.

Charity in the new decade

Sandy and Tanya Hutchens feel that it is our obligation and, indeed, our pleasure to give back to the community and to the charities that know how to work in their independent areas of expertise to effectively help those who need it, Whether it is in the area of medical causes, poverty concerns, or animal rights issues we feel that we are fortunate and privileged to be able to contribute.
